Alex Carey is a South Australian batsman. His full name is Alex Tyson Carey, and he was born in the year 1991 on 27th August. He is currently the wicket-keeper in the Australian International Cricket Team. He played domestic cricket for South Australia and Adelaide Strikers. He helped the Australian National Team to win in the 2023 ICC World Test Championship Final by being a part of the team.

Though the incident did not affect Carrey’s strong dedication and perseverance, he continued to play for his team, Sheffield Shield and developed stronger wicket-keeping skills.
Finally, he got a call as a limited-overs wicket-keeper in the year 2018, he was ranked number 7, which was initially too low as per his abilities. Gradually, he was able to score high ranks and finally got an opportunity to play his first maiden World Cup.
