Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) teamed up to host the IndusInd Bank Women's National T20 Cricket Tournament from January 9 to the 13th, 2023. 16 different state teams competed in the competition. Participants in this competition were considered for selection to the first-ever Indian Women's Blind Cricket Team, which will compete at the World Blind Games in Birmingham in 2023.

“Having the opportunity to work with the Cricket Association for the Blind in India and the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled to spread the game of cricket to women with visual impairments has left me speechless. We should all do everything we can to spread the word about cricket for the visually impaired since it's a wonderful sport that can help us create a more accepting culture. In advance of the Women's National in Bengaluru, I'd like to extend my best wishes to all competing teams. I can't wait until the World Blind Games in Birmingham to see the first Indian Blind Women's Cricket Team compete. Let's applaud and back their efforts. Altidore Sports Green Park, Sachin Tendulkar Turf Ground, Ramasagara, Cricbuzz Cricket Academy, Chandapur, and Cricbiz Cricket Academy, Bannerghatta Road were the four locations in Bengaluru where the 24 league matches took place. Altiore Sports Green Park hosted the semifinals, and finals were held on 12th and 13th of January. After the conclusion of the finals, a large graduation party was held for the winners, Odisha Women. 

Mr. Mahantesh G.K., President of CABI, spoke during the event, noting that the inaugural Indian Women's Cricket Team for the 10th Blind would be chosen based on their performances in this competition. “We're doing what we can to improve the women's game so that they can compete internationally with pride,” he said.
