She became the youngest to make a fifty against West Indies in international cricket. She was also chosen as the ‘Player of the Series’ in the same series of T20 matches against West Indies where she made 158 runs.

On instagram, she shared a picture with Sachin Tendulkar and wrote a caption stating ‘ The reason I took up this game was because of Sachin Sir.’ She also added that her entire family has not only idolised him but has also worshipped him. She feels lucky to meet her childhood hero and further mentioned that ‘It was a dream come true for me’.
