Mayank Agarwal Stats was already among the best players in India domestic cricket before being called up to the national test team, having amassed the most runs in the 2017-18 season. Mayank was ultimately called up to the Indian Test team during the 2018–19 Border–Gavaskar series in Australia as a result of his perseverance at the domestic and India A levels. His tenacious 76, which was the best score by an Indian batsman making his debut in Australia and the second-highest score by an Indian opener making their debut in an international Test, came as he opened the batting for India in the boxing day Test match. He followed that up with a 42-run innings in Melbourne's second innings and a determined 77 in the Test match in Sydney. 

IPL Journey

Mayank Agarwal was purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore during the 2011 IPL and he played against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in his debut. He was then  given  the chance to start the innings alongside Chris Gayle. Even if his season was not particularly successful, there were times when Mayank showed the rest of us what he was capable of.
