As per the official announcement made by the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the Cricket Technical Committee (CTC), Misbah-ul-Haq, the former captain and Pakistani cricket coach will be leading the Cricket Technical Committee (CTC). The committee also includes the former skippers Mohammad Hafeez and Inzamam-ul-Haq.

There has been constant speculation about the cricket committee formation that Zaka Ashraf has been drafted by the cricket committee along with Misbah. However, the official announcement cleared the air when Rashid Latif clarified that he has no association with the PCB committee.
