Indian fans will always associate Robin Uthappa with a player with a strong build who was an important component of India's 2007 T20 World Cup victory. Uthappa was a fun batsman to watch and knew how to play every shot.

Early on, it was clear that Robin Uthappa had talent. When he was just 17 years old in 2002, he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Karnataka.
