David Warner, the charismatic Australian southpaw seems to be heading towards a new chapter in his illustrious cricket career. In an interesting turn of events, Dubai Capitals have indicated Warner's inclusion in the team through a small video on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Dubal Capitals' official account has not revealed the name in an 18-second long video but the glimpses shown clearly indicate that it is none other than David Warner. The left-hander is already a part of Capitals family and led Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2023. So, given how the T20 franchise world is operating, it is quite normal for a player to sign for the same franchise in different leagues.
The video released is with a caption that a new sultan is arriving in Dubai and the person has been referred as a legend who has earlier played for Capitals.
Dubai Capitals managed to qualify for the playoffs in the inaugural season of the ILT20 but crashed out against rampant MI Emirates in the Eliminator. Yusuf Pathan was the captain of Dubai Capitals in that season and with Warner's entry now, we might just seem leading the side as well.
